About

I currently teach mathematics and educational technology for West Shore Community College in Ludington, Michigan.  Prior to working at WSCC, I taught calculus, physics, and technology at an accelerated high school which was part of the Michigan Mathematics/Science Center Program.
My professional interests are focused on the successful implementation of technology in the post-secondary classroom, specifically in the areas of mathematics and physics.
The mission is to forge an effective educational pedagogy which promotes student learning via a rapid cycle of instruction, assessment, and feedback.
As an instructional tool, appropriate use of technology can help students overcome obstacles, liberate learning, and ascend to staggering heights of understanding.
I've been happily married for over 10 years, and have two fine lads.  When unplugged, I enjoy tennis, hiking, mountain-biking, and kayaking.
