I currently teach mathematics and educational technology for West Shore Community College in Ludington, Michigan. Prior to working at WSCC, I taught calculus, physics, and technology at an accelerated high school which was part of the Michigan Mathematics/Science Center Program.

My professional interests are focused on the successful implementation of technology in
the post-secondary classroom, specifically in the areas of mathematics and physics.
The mission is to forge an effective educational pedagogy which promotes student learning via a rapid cycle of instruction, assessment, and feedback.
As an
instructional tool, appropriate use of technology can help students
overcome obstacles, liberate learning, and ascend to staggering heights
of understanding. |

I've been happily married for over 10 years, and have two fine lads. When unplugged, I enjoy tennis, hiking, mountain-biking, and kayaking.
